Honda says that they should be able to achieve 73.4mpg (3.21 L/100km). My 21 500SE is getting 19.8kms per litre, or 5.05 L/100km (46.6mpg). I mainly use to to get the short distance to and from work, and the occasional weekend cruise out a winding road on the edge of town. I’m not pushing the bike much either, I’m more of a cruisy riderI keep up with 1200cc Harleys without issue as well. To be fair, the 500 isn't much heavier, so I assume the highway weight issue would still exist on the bigger model. Either way, you're not making the wrong choice. A bike is a bike. People have become too obsessed with engine size and forget that it used to be about fun.
We were really impressed with the 2020 Rebel 500, which turned out to be surprisingly sporty and more fun to ride than we grizzled veterans expected.Honda claims more of the same for the 1100, including a bank angle of 35-degrees via a cartridge-type 43 mm fork, twin Showa shocks with piggyback reservoirs, and a curb weight of 509 pounds for the DCT version – quite light for a big cruiser.
The Rebel 250 makes 26 PS power at 9,500 rpm and 22 Nm torque at 7,750 rpm. The Honda Rebel 250 top speed is nearly 85 mph as claimed by the buyers. It provides a good cruising speed as well as a good touring range. Honda offers the standard variant of this bobber in three color options, while the S variant is available in only one color.
