I've just fitted a Pioneer DEH-X8700DAB into my Z4C - I liked this model as it does everything and has a dual rotary controller to do most functions rather than lots of fiddly buttons. The illumination colour can also be changed to match the BMW orange/amber. With an adaptor lead it is also linked to the MFSW buttons.

Hi all, Since I changed my E85 roof motor for the usual Z4 water damage issues, it operates perfectly to open the roof. When I operate the roof to close it, at the very final part of operation where the locking arms engage into the windscreen frame, the motor squeals / whines as if there is insufficient oil in the system.
